During the first 15 years, our tiny firm of 4 Certified Public Accountants grew into a well-respected accounting and tax practice of 15 professionals. We specialized in small-to-medium-sized businesses and assisted the owners in all areas of tax, attestation, and business consulting.
Over time, as relationships with our clients grew, they started asking questions unrelated to their business or tax situations. They had families, and they began to share all their financial concerns with us. As our clients’ most trusted advisor, it was natural for them to turn to
Bernath & Rosenberg for help.
As this continued to happen, we realized that Certified Public Accountants are not trained in many of the disciplines necessary to provide
comprehensive financial advice. However, we saw an opportunity to assist our clients, and we made a strategic decision to expand our business model and become licensed as Personal Financial Specialists. We used this and other related designations to build a well-rounded financial services firm.
Now, 15 years later, our accounting/tax and wealth management divisions are comprised of 35 Certified Public Accountants, financial
planners, and support staff. Regardless of whether it’s a discussion about business, family, or both, our clients know they can count on us to provide comprehensive financial solutions that keep their best interests in mind.
